Weapons are a kind of Equipment in Immortal Unchained that determines the player's method of dealing damage. Weapons can be several types of Guns, or Special Unique Weapons such as futuristic swords. Players will also equip Armor to balance their damage intake and mobility.
Weapons in Immortal Unchained
There are several different types of weapons in Immortal Unchained, and only specific ones can be slotted into certain slots. For all intents and purposes the game has designated certain weapons as "primary", "secondary" and melee, and at the beginning of the game players can only equip one of each type. Later on players will be able to equip 2 of each type once they unlock Carrying Capacity II and Carrying Capacity IV.

Compact Guns (Primary)
Compact Guns in Immortal Unchained are based off the KRISS VECTOR series of guns in real life. These are Primary Weapons and can only be slotted there, whereas Submachine Guns are Secondary Weapons.
Assault Rifles (Primary)
Assault Rifles in Immortal Unchained are based off of 5 different models of real life guns: AK 47, AKS 74, FN SCAR, M16A4, and the M4A1. They are organized here in this order. Assault Rifles are also Primary Weapons and are the most common weapon in the game.
Auto-Shotguns (Primary)
Auto-Shotguns in Immortal Unchained are based off the AA12 that can fire 300 rounds per minute. Auto-Shotguns are a Primary Weapon, whereas Shotguns are Secondary Weapons.
Sniper Rifles (Primary)
Sniper Rifles in Immortal Unchained are based off 3 different Sniper weapons in real life: DRAGUNOV, KIMBER SOC TACTICAL, and WALTHER WA 2000. Snipers are Primary Weapons and can only be slotted there.
Launchers (Primary)
Launches in Immortal Unchained are based off 4 different real life models: DP64, EX 41, GRENADE LAUNCHER, and MGL LAUNCHER. These weapons are considered Primary Weapons and can only be slotted in these slots.
Pistols (Secondary)
Pistols in Immortal Unchained are based of models BERETTA 9MM, DESERT EAGLE, PHOENIX REVOLVER, and LASER PISTOL. Pistols are considered Secondary Weapons and can only be equipped in those slots.
Submachine Guns (Secondary)
Submachine Guns in Immortal Unchained are based off the real life AEK 919, KEDR, SHIPKA, and SKORPION. Submachine Guns are Secondary Weapons and can only be equipped into these slots.
Shotguns (Secondary)
Shotguns in Immortal Unchained are based on the M1014 and REMINGTON series in real life. Unlike the Auto-Shotguns, Shotguns are Secondary Weapons and can only be equipped in those slots.
Melee Weapons
Melee Weapons in Immortal Unchained have their own designated slot and can only be equipped there. Only one Melee Weapon can be equipped at once.
Anonymousin my current playthrough i found an assault rifle that i cant find in the list, it is called Goldstar in german and requires 27 Finesse and 18 toughness, has anyone else seen it?because i cant remember where i got it from, i came here days after getting it

Unfortnely sniper sucks, Melee shouldnt be your first priority, SMG/compact is worst than assault rifle, Assault rifle is ok for a long range damage, some launcher might be useful, but not worth building for it . Automatic shotguns is way more OP than any other weapon, specialy with a good reload speed( Finesse= 15 to 18). I sugest getting the "Legion Auto-Shotgun", that is avaliable in world 2(forest) , ASAP ( just pay 1k bit enter the world and turn left ). Legion Holmeguard Shotgun avaliable in world 1 is also good for the special atack knock down.
Best weapon in the game (Highest damage at least) is the Lone Guard sniper rifle which was added in the November 2018 patch. It's not a legendary weapon, it's epic(purple). It looks very similar to the Oni Smasher auto--shotgun. Lone Gaurd does about 140 damage more than the Silver Spear (I compared both when fully upgraded).
